Hyderabad: As part of Operation Muskan-VII, four children including a girl were rescued from various places across Rachakonda Police Commissionerate here on Friday.
The She Team from Vanasthalipuram division along with the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and District Child Protection Unit officials rescued a minor girl and a 3-year-old boy, who were found begging along with a woman at Auto Nagar in Vanasthalipuram. The woman was counseled and the children were handed over to their parents.
As part of the drive at Bibinagar, officials from Bhongir division She Teams rescued a minor boy who was working at a motorcycle mechanic shop and handed him over to his parents. The shop owner was counseled and warned of legal action.
In another incident, the She Team of Kushaiguda division along with the Child Welfare Department officials and AHTU rescued a minor boy, who was working in a brick kiln at Keesara, under hazardous conditions. The child was handed over to his parents and a notice was issued to the industry owner.
