Operation Muskan 2025 rescued 328 child labourers across the erstwhile Adilabad district, with the highest in Mancherial. The month-long drive involved multiple departments and NGOs, leading to legal action against employers and school enrolment of rescued children.

In a month-long operation under Operation Muskan-XI, 54 child labourers were rescued across Kothagudem district and reunited with their families. The drive, led by Superintendent of Police B. Rohith Raju, was conducted from July 1-31 in coordination with various government departments.

In a successful operation called Operation Muskan, 93 child labourers were rescued in Adilabad on July 31. The rescued children, including 26 from other states, will now be enrolled in schools as part of a larger effort to eradicate child labor in the region.

Giving details of the children rescued during the operation, Police Commissioner Kalmeshwar Shingenavar said 26 children were rescued in Nizamabad division, 15 in Armoor division and 33 in Bodhan division.
