OPPO’s Noida factory sets new benchmarks in smartphone manufacturing; OPPO F29 to launch on March 20

OPPO India presently produces one smartphone every three seconds to ensure a hassle-free supply chain with material stock for over 1.2 million phones at any given time.

Hyderabad: Revolutionizing smartphone manufacturing in India, OPPO is also a global leader in smart devices with its cutting-edge Noida facility. OPPO India presently produces one smartphone every three seconds to ensure a hassle-free supply chain with material stock for over 1.2 million phones at any given time.

High-tech Manufacturing Powerhouse
The four major sections of the OPPO India factory include Assembly, SMT (Surface Mount Technology), Storage, and Supply Warehouse. The efficiency of production is increased by using highly advanced SMT machines which can place 37000 micro components per hour. Under this time, a very complex Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) will be completed, thus showcasing the input of the brand to the precision.


OPPO smartphone goes through stringent testing procedures like electrical performance tests, structural analyses, and environmental aging tests. The durability test includes one known as a hard pressure test that has smartphones pressed with a force of 35 kg 100 times and a micro-drop test of 28,000 drops each from a height of 10 cm.

This is a new approach that the OPPO factory is trying with all of its 52 production lines, 37 assembly stations, and 20 test stations as well as components within 10 minutes for dispatching about 200 smartphones. Established in 2016, the Noida facility, which has an area of 110 acres, produces over 6 million phone units a month during peak season and has an employee force above 10,000 trained individuals.

Success of the OPPO F-Series as well as the Truly Upcoming Launch of OPPO F29 The OPPO F-Series has seen hugely increasing consumer preferences besides. The OPPO F27 Pro+ registered a jump of 30% in sales compared to the predecessor F25 Pro, creating huge waves across major markets such as Nagpur (87%), Rajasthan (57%), Madhya Pradesh (55%), Karnataka (28%), Gujarat (27%) and Andhra Pradesh (25%).

Taking it forward, OPPO will introduce the OPPO F29 series on March 20, 2025. The F29 series raises the bar for durability and performance with a focus on meeting the demands of India’s high-speed gig economy of drivers, delivery partners, and small business owners.

In addition to the OPPO F29, Realme will launch the P3 series.
