Adilabad: Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Sridhar Rao Deshpande was all praise for Mukhra (K) in Echoda mandal for achieving financial empowerment by producing vermicompost when he visited the village on Wednesday.
Sridhar Rao said that Mukhra had become a role model for the entire State by making profits through sale of vermicompost, realising the dream of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who envisages empowerment of rural local bodies. He appreciated sarpanch Gadge Meenkashi and MPTC Subhash for playing a vital role in the growth of the village.
The OSD was felicitated by Meenakshi and Subhashi during the visit.
