Hyderabad: Centre for Product Design, Development and Additive Manufacturing (CPDDAM), a Centre of Excellence of Osmania University (OU) in 3D printing has been recently launched on the OU campus.
The CPDDAM which was established under RUSA 2.0 with Rs 6 crore was inaugurated by Commissioner of Technical and Collegiate Education Navin Mittal, and OU Vice-Chancellor Prof D Ravinder.
Speaking on the occasion, Navin Mittal and Prof Ravinder congratulated the efforts of Prof Sriram Venkatesh, director, CPDDAM, Prof L Siva Rama Krishna, joint director, CPDDAM, and other team members for establishing the state-of-the-art 3D printing centre with the latest equipment on par with any other IITs or central institute of repute. They wished that the centre would not only cater to the needs of UG, PG, and PhD students in the State but also for the entire country.
