Hyderabad: In a bid to bolster and expand student support services, Osmania University has set up a new Centre for Human Capital Development. The Centre will be headed by Prof. K Stevenson as Director along with Dr. KW Christopher, Dr. A. Patrick, and Dr. P. Muralidhar Reddy as co-ordinators.
The Centre will facilitate and impart skill enhancement training, improve placement services, and counselling for global education to students. It will also liaise with major institutions and industries, the OU said on Saturday.
The university also appointed Dr. Syeda Azeem Unnisa as in-charge Director of Minority Cell, Dr. CP Vardhini and Dr. G. Anjaiah as Additional Controllers of Examinations, Dr. Saveen Soudha as in-charge Coordinator for Empanelled Training Institution, and Dr. SV Satyanarayana retired professor of Commerce as consultant for corporate social responsibility.
