Hyderabad: A team consisting of all women administrators took charge at Osmania University’s UGC-Human Resource Development Centre here on Thursday.
Prof. B. Vijaya of the Department of English assumed charge as the Director, Dr. B. Lavanya of the History Department took charge as Associate Director, and Dr. V. Samunnatha of Business Management as Assistant Director.
This is the first time in the history of a century old University that a major training centre was being headed by a woman faculty supported by two other women faculty members, the OU said in a press release.
