Ostrich at Nehru Zoo adopted for a year
VVL Subhadra Devi, the curator of Nehru Zoological Park thanked Rao for his contribution of Rs 50,000 and informed that it will take care of the Ostrich for one whole year.

Hyderabad: A city-based animal lover, Raghavendra Rao Gudipudi and his friends adopted an ostrich at the Nehru Zoological Park for a period of one year.
VVL Subhadra Devi, the curator of Nehru Zoological Park thanked Rao for his contribution of Rs 50,000 and informed that it will take care of the Ostrich for one whole year.
She also announced an open competition ‘Making of a Turtle Model’, wherein participants are required to make a turtle with any material and send three photographs of the raw material, process and the final model to nehruzoopark1@gmail.com.
This competition is a part of the zoo’s education and awareness programme on occasion of World Turtle Day, to be celebrated on May 23.
