Hyderabad: As part of the ongoing lecture series, Anusandhan, at the Arts College, Osmania University, Dr Deepak Vohra, IFS officer and special advisor to the Prime Minister addressed the students on Monday. Referring to the large youth population, Dr Vohra termed it a demographic window of opportunity.
“India faces challenges on Covid-19, climate vulnerabilities and economy but has the potential to emerge as the super power. India has transformed itself from being an importer of food grains to a food exporter,” he said.

“The country had accorded high importance to education from time immemorial,” citing mythological references, he pointed out, adding that the problems of democracy could be solved by having more democracy.
Prof. Ch. Ganesh, Principal, UCASS, Dr. B. Lavanya, Convenor in coordination with skill development committee members Dr. P. Swathi, Dr. CS Swathi, Dr. NR Giridhar, UCASS, organised the programme.
Heads, Directors, Faculty members and students from several departments attended the lecture.
