Over 160 participants attend webinar on India’s hydrocarbon future
A webinar on India’s untapped hydrocarbon frontiers brought together experts, students and professionals to discuss petroleum exploration, energy security, basin analysis and resource management. Former ONGC senior expert Kris Sishtla highlighted emerging opportunities and innovative strategies for future energy needs
Hyderabad: A webinar on ‘Untapped Hydrocarbon Frontiers – A Forward-Looking Perspective for India’, to discuss the growing importance of petroleum exploration and diversified hydrocarbon sourcing for India, was organised by AvaniXplore LLP in collaboration with EarthScholar Professional Academy and MindSpark Learning Hub.
In his keynote address, Kris Sishtla, former senior expert with ONGC, shared insights into India’s hydrocarbon potential, emerging exploration frontiers, energy security challenges, and the need for innovative exploration strategies and interdisciplinary research.
The webinar, coordinated by Dr. Mahender Kotha, Founding Partner of AvaniXplore LLP, and R Renuka, Co-founder of MindSpark Learning Hub, featured over 160 participants, including more than 130 students and over 30 professionals from industry and academia in India and abroad.
The webinar served as an engaging platform for discussions on petroleum exploration, basin analysis, hydrocarbon resource management, and India’s long-term energy outlook.
