Over 2.25 lakh vaccinated in Telangana on Monday

Hyderabad: Government and private Covid vaccination centres have administered at least one dose of Covid vaccine to 2,25,050 individuals across Telangana in the last 24 hours, according to the latest bulletin from State health department. A total of 1,51,603 individuals were administered with the first dose while 73,447 persons received the second dose of the Covid vaccine on Monday.

So far, since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive on January 16, a total of 1.78 crore individuals in Telangana have received at least one single dose of Covid vaccine. While 45,90,014 persons are fully vaccinated and have received their first and second dose of Covid vaccine, 1,32,87,349 persons have so far received the first dose of the vaccine.

Individuals above 45 years and those between 18 years and 44 years form the largest chunk among age groups to have received Covid vaccine in the State. A total of 89,86,718 persons over the age of 45 years have been vaccinated out of which 59,24,014 have received the first dose while 30,62,704 have received both the doses of Covid vaccine.

In the 18 years to 44 years category, about 78,23,858 individuals have been vaccinated out of which 67,42,676 have received the first dose while 10,81,182 persons are fully vaccinated i.e. they have received both the doses. As per the COWIN portal, so far 1,55,52,084 doses of Covid vaccines have been administered in Telangana.
