Over 250 kidney patients attend NephroPlus ‘Aashayein’ event in Hyderabad

Over 250 chronic kidney patients and their families attended NephroPlus’ annual flagship event ‘Aashayein’ in Hyderabad. The get-together featured health tips, fun activities, and a talent showcase, aiming to inspire hope and foster community among patients undergoing dialysis treatment

Hyderabad: Over 250 chronic kidney patients and their families participated in a get-together ‘Aashayein’, organised by dialysis service provider NephroPlus. The event aimed to help patients connect with others navigating similar challenges in their dialysis journey, fostering new friendships, strengthening bonds, and inspiring hope and courage.

Doctors and dietitians shared practical tips on leading a normal life while on dialysis, including making food enjoyable within the dialysis diet and maintaining overall wellbeing.


The event also featured a talent showcase by patients, fun games, and interactive entertainment sessions.

Kamal D. Shah, Co-Founder of Nephrocare Health Services Limited, said, “We are delighted to host our annual flagship event ‘Aashayein’ in Hyderabad. It honours the courage and spirit of dialysis patients.”

Senior specialists including Dr. Seerapani Gopaluni (Nephrologist), Dr. Sanjeeva Rao K (Vascular Surgeon), Dr. Shashidhar (Nephrologist), Dr. Ratan Jha (Nephrologist) and others were present.
