Devotees throng Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple, Vemulawada on the occasion of Basant Panchami, on Monday.
Karimnagar: Temples in the erstwhile Karimnagar district were teamed with devotees on the occasion of Basant Panchami on Monday.
The devotees were seen visiting shrines early in the morning and performing pujas to the presiding deities. The rush was high at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulawada. A total of 55,503 devotees had darshan of the presiding deity. Devotees formed serpentine queues for darshan by taking a holy dip in ‘dharmagundam’.
