A Grand pet show for Dogs, Cats, and Pet Lovers held in the city on Sunday
Hyderabad: A mega pet show for dogs, cats, and pet lovers ‘Pro Hycan 24’ , which attracted participation from nearly 5000 visitors, over 500 dogs, and 100 cats, was held on Hyderabad on Sunday.
Organised by Hyderabad Canine Club, the Dog Show was focused at creating awareness on responsible pet ownership, improve quality of breeds and standards. There are well over 150 breeds and their standards must be improved, without which there is no meaning in developing more breeds, Dr. M. Praveen Rao, president, Hyderabad Canine Club said.
The dog show was also focused to promote responsible pet ownership, ethical breeding practices, and the welfare of animals. The event offered an opportunity for pet lovers and industry professionals to connect, share, and learn while enjoying a family-friendly atmosphere.
An awareness event ‘Be Safe with Dogs’, educational session on how to safely approach a dog, react when a dog runs towards you, and interact responsibly with pets to prevent accidents etc was also organised.
Senior IPS officer, Mahesh Bhagwat, who was the chief guest in the dog show, congratulated the Hyderabad Canine Club for successfully holding the event.
