Hyderabad: Slamming the killing of three Indian mariners in a US military strike on a merchant vessel in the Gulf of Oman, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday alleged that President Donald Trump is a threat to world peace.
Calling US actions completely illegal, he asked who gave the US the right to attack any ship.
“Donald Trump is a threat to world peace. You cannot attack any ship. What is this? Why are you attacking ships? Who gives you the right to attack any ship? Whatever flag it is flying, how can you attack it?” he asked while interacting with reporters.
The lives of three Indians are lost, and their families are suffering now, he said.
The US had no right to attack, even if it was an Iranian military ship. “This is pure hooliganism,” he said.
The AIMIM leader expressed unhappiness that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not uttered a single word condemning the killing of Indians.
What is the point of merely summoning a US Embassy official to express displeasure by issuing a demarche, he asked.
He also said the Omani government should be thanked for helping the Indian sailors after the ship they were on came under attack earlier this week.
