Hyderabad: The Telugu Cinematographers Association (TCA) has re-elected well-known cinematographer P G Vinda as its President for a second term. The election took place on May 11, 2025, and saw high participation from members across the industry.
Along with Mr Vinda, Rahul Shrivastav was chosen as General Secretary and G Bheemudu (also known as G Srikanth) as Treasurer for the 2025–2027 term.
During his previous term, Mr Vinda he introduced easier workflows, clear production steps, and helpful guidelines that benefited both young and experienced cinematographers.
His efforts made the association more open and helpful, giving young talents better chances and making the working environment more organised.
Speaking after the win, Mr Vinda said,
“Thank you so much for your support and trust. Your valuable presence and key vote helped our panel win these elections. This win is not just ours—it belongs to every member of the TCA. Let’s stand united and take TCA to new heights, together.”
The newly elected team has promised to keep working for better training, more technical growth, and improved support for Telugu cinematographers. They also aim to bring global attention to Telugu cinema’s behind-the-camera talent.
