Well, this time, a paddle boarder had two unexpected visitors – curious whales in Argentina. The paddle boarder Analia Giorgetti, who was out on the water on her birthday, says it was a “privilege” and calls the close encounter a “magical moment”.
“It was a wonderful moment. I did not feel fear. They were very peaceful and amicable. It was as if they came for a visit,” she told BBC.
“They submerged and were like curious children. Then, suddenly one of them touched me. I said to my friend ‘Luce, look the whale touched me’. Then, we noticed a drone capturing us,” she added. She also mentions that she had adrenalin high till 10 in the night, calling it a beautiful experience.
