Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said on Thursday that the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project would be completed within the next three years, transforming the agrarian profile of the drought-prone districts.
Addressing a meeting in Wanaparthy after inaugurating several development programmes in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district, he emphasised that Congress government initiated and completed projects like Koil Sagar, Bhima, Kalwakurthy and Nettempadu on the Krishna River.
He also claimed that the Congress government issued the first GO for construction of the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project and it would be completing it.
