Hyderabad: Rythu Bandhu Samithi president Palla Rajeshwar Reddy was sworn in as the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates Constituency MLC here on Thursday.
Rajeshwar Reddy retained the MLC by winning with a majority of 12, 806 votes over his immediate contender Teenmar Mallanna, in a four-day counting battle.
Telangana Legislative Council Protem Chairman V Bhoopal Reedy administered the oath. Legislative Affairs Minister V Prashanth Reddy, MLC K Kavitha and other TRS leaders were present on the occasion.
