Pallavi Aware International: Kids discuss chocolate’s evolution

On the occasion of World Chocolate Day, the students of grade I of Pallavi Aware International School organised an event to celebrate this mouth-watering delicacy. The students informed the audience about Chocolate Day and went on to educate them on the history and evolution of chocolate.
The students spoke in detail about the history of cocoa and its journey to the various corners of the world. What started as a random plant, grew to be the currency of Amazons, turned into a bitter-sweet drink, and finally evolved into one of the most consumed products in the world, a student said explaining the evolution of chocolate.
The students then went on to explain how cacao beans are collected, processed, and turned into chocolate. They also spoke about the three types of chocolate: white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate.
The students informed the audience that chocolate is not just a delicious snack but also has many health-beneficial components in it. The students then conducted a quiz encouraging and ensuring that the audience would learn more about the amazing facts about the chocolate.
