Sankranti celebrations were organised at Pallavi Aware International School virtually. The harvest festival was celebrated with pomp and splendour with tiny tots showing their art and craft skills, dance and song. Students presented their rangoli making skills at the virtual event.
On account of the coronavirus pandemic, usual festivities and celebrations, like kite flying, taking dips in holy rivers were on a low key. However, kids made it a point by adhering to Covid restriction norms like practising social distancing, wearing masks and took part in the festivities.
They also sent virtual wishes and messages to their loved ones. Teachers extended Sankrati greeting and hoped that the season ushers in goodness, peace, good health and happiness to all.
