Hyderabad: To mark National Epilepsy Day, the students of class III of Pallavi Aware International School have organized a virtual programme.

In India, 17 November every year is observed as National Epilepsy Day. Epilepsy can affect people at any age and each age group has unique concerns and problems. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal.

A PowerPoint presentation was presented by the students on Epilepsy and the different effects it can have on different people, followed by an informative speech on precautions to be taken. A song was then sung by the students in the dedication of Epilepsy patients to motivate them in every aspect of their lives. To ensure the participation of the audience, a quiz was then conducted by the students.

To make this gathering more special, a wonderful and informative skit was enacted by the students giving information on how to help a person when Epilepsy occurs, the first-aid care to be given, and the do and don’ts to be followed. The students went on to implore the audience to touch upon their inner humanity by helping others when needed and spreading awareness of this cause.
