Field trips are sadly out of question during Covid-19 pandemic, but Pallavi International School, Gandipet did not let it effect the fun that children have at the field trips. The school organised a virtual field trip to Disneyland, Paris on June 18, 2021, for the students of preprimary on the occasion of International Picnic Day.
The students of both PP-I and PP-II participated in the field trip. Our tiny tots imagined themselves to be present at Disneyland. This virtual visit was an enthralling experience for the young minds that are always eager to learn. It was fun to get to know about the intriguing mysteries of the world of Disney.
Parent testimonials stated that the children had fun and were excited to visit the Disneyland in real life. Yathika’s parents said “Elementary school kids benefit a lot from field trips. It also helps in exploring the new places when there’s a time and distance constraint. The field trip increases the curiosity in children which will help them learn with excitement. Today I saw my kid enjoying a virtual field trip.” Another parent, mother of Krithi, said “She has a lot of fun. She enjoyed the frozen land. Her favourite part was Elsa. Kids had lots of fun. I think this is a very good initiative by the school. But I have only one complaint; Now all the children want to go to Disneyland.”
