Pallavi Model School: Collective efforts will save environment
Students not only to plant the saplings but also take an oath to take the responsibility of nurturing them and overseeing their growth

To inculcate a sense of commitment among the students, Pallavi Model School, Boduppal took up the responsibility of planting 1000 trees on the campus and in its surrounding areas. IFS officer Akbar, DFO Venkateshwarlu, school chairman Malka Komaraiah, COO Malka Yashasvi, Director Sushil Kumar, Principal Tanuja along with the students flagged off the green drive.
Principal Tanuja, Principal welcomed the dignitaries and appraised them of the different activities like poster making, slogan writing, green patch challenge competition and essay writing that were conducted as part of Haritha Haram for the students across from I to X classes.
Speaking on the occasion, Akbar entreated the students just not only to plant the saplings but also take an oath to take the responsibility of nurturing them and overseeing their growth. He also said that if the youth of this nation shoulder the responsibility, nothing can hinder their progress.
DFO Venkateshwarlu said when one Wangari Mathai could do so much for her country and the world at large; every child can become a green soldier. COO Pallavi Group of Institution Malka Yashasvi, said that they would be taking this programme ahead with more commitment and concern. Student council members and parents were present.
