Pallavi Model School: English Week brings out the best in students
The students were allowed to showcase their oratory skills.
English week celebration 2021 kicked off at on August 3 at Pallavi Model School, Boduppal. The motto behind the celebration was to enhance the students’ explorative thinking skills, vocabulary, sharpen the LSRW skills, and to learn the correct usage of spoken English.
It provides a good training ground for developing communication skills. An array of competitions were conducted from Grade I to X to enhance the confidence and competence of the students like storytelling, monologues based on Indian mythological stories, poetry recitation, webinars, poster making, designing a travel book, declamation, admad and turn-coat competition. It was a challenging job for the judges and a pretty challenge for the participants too.
The students were allowed to showcase their oratory skills. The literary week brought students closer to the magic of the English language and literature. The theme of the week was Bhavya Bharath, know thy greatness.
The students got an opportunity to explore about the Indian writers in English and speak about them. Principal Tanuja, vice-principal Kiranmai and teachers of the English department were present… The cooperative parents also stood like pillars as the enthusiastic students turned the school into an English haven, the school said.
