Pallavi Model School: Homoeopathy benefits discussed

Students of classes VIII and IX of Pallavi Model School, Alwal celebrated world Homeopathy day virtually. World Homoeopathy Day is celebrated on the 10th of April every year. This year the theme of the day in India is, “Homoeopathy- Roadmap for Integrative Medicine”.
Satyaphani, the host darted off the day with the importance of homoeopathy and its contribution to the world of medicine. The date is the birth anniversary of Dr Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, who was a German physician and the founder of homoeopathy. Hahnemann was born on April 10, 1755 in Paris and 1796 he created an alternate system of medicines and called it homoeopathy.
The programme commenced with the etymology of the word homoeopathy, the science behind it by Vinuthana class IX student, while Sarayu from class VIII spoke about the differences between Allopathy, Unani medicines, Ayurveda and Naturopathy, it was then followed by Ananya of class VIII who expressed her experience of having homoeopathy medicines.
The most important aspect of the assembly was the information shared by Dr Dhananjay, a homoeopath practitioner for the past 20 years. He diligently spoke about symptoms, remedy and treatments and cure. He spoke to the students about how Covid Patients were cured within eight days by taking homoeopathic medicines. The discussion led to a question and answer session, where the doubts were clarified by the guest speaker.
Principal Sunir Nagi presided over the assembly and spoke about how she opts for homoeopathy as an alternative medicine since there are no side effects. The assembly came to an end with Vinuthana’s vote of thanks.
