Pallavi Model school: Massive plantation drive taken up
Pallavi Model Group of Schools planted around 6,000 saplings during the pandemic and we are a team enriched with students from pre-primary to class XII, the school said .

Haritha Haram green drive organised at Pallavi Model school, Alwal at its campus recently evoked good response from students and parents. MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, Corporator Raj Jitender Nath, Deputy Commissioner GHMC A Nagamani, CI Alwal PS Gangadhar, chairman Pallavi Group of Schools Malka Komaraiah, chief operating officer Pallavi Group of Schools Malka Yasaswi, principal Pallavi Model School, Alwal Sunir Nagi were among those who were present at the event.
Every year, since the inception of Pallavi Model School Alwal, we have been planting saplings ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 with the support of GHMC and school management, the school said. Students used to gift a sapling for birthdays and special occasions.
We haven’t stopped it there since our students not only have planted but also named them and have taken care of the plants, the school added praising the participation of students in large numbers.
