Pallavi Model School, Alwal organised a special assembly to celebrate Raksha Bandhan virtually. Children looked adorable in traditional attire.
The celebration started with a message by Principal Sunir Nagi who said that the bond between siblings is one of the purest and most celebrated bonds. Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the bond of a brother and sister.
When we split the word, Raksha means protection and Bandhan means bond. Children performed dances to mark the occasion. They also showed their love towards their siblings through activities like Ad mad, ramp walk and foot tapping dances.
It was a delight to watch kids celebrate the festival of bond with so much enthusiasm, the school said adding that the school also conducted a rakhi-making competition for parents.
To end the celebration on an educative note we had a takeaway activity which was to make a symbol of love i.e a heart cut out and gift it to their sibling. Kids were thrilled to do all the creative activities and understood why Raksha Bandhan is celebrated.
