Hyderabad: The annual Christmas programme at Pallavi Model School, Alwal, was held on Dec 23 by the pallavians in offline mode. The entire plinth was stunningly decorated with Christmas ornaments and a magnificent star rose high above the pillars of the school.
The programme embarked with the scripture reading by Shirin then a narrative classical performance by Diana and Anupama of grade X on Christ is lost in Christmas. The program moved on with the galvanizing Christmas message by the principal Sunir Nagi, about humility, resilience and hope for a corona-free world.
The heavenly choir of pallavians regaled the audience with carols while the teachers’ choir led by Susan caroled the medley, followed by the nativity tableau by grade V, VI, VII a delightful story that explored the heart of the gospel message and the reason for the Christmas season. To students grooved to hip hop jingle bells with cha cha dance.
The school resonated with the beats of the drums and guitar of the music band led by Leo. The mood was lit, festive spirit rose and wishes of Christmas were resounding. Santa Claus skittered through the crowd showering chocolates and wishes to the students.
The programme came to the standstill with a pleasant visit of the director T Sudha, who wished students and encouraged them to create their timetable for the new year and develop a cover page for the upcoming magazine. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks and a picture galore all the way.
