Hyderabad: The menace of fake news on social media is an ever growing one. In yet another instance of fake news doing the rounds on social media, it is being claimed that French Virologist and Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier has made a statement saying “All vaccinated people will die in within 2 years”.
In the fake post that is currently going viral on the internet, Luc Montagnier’s statements have been tweaked, creating panic among people. The post quotes him as saying “There is no hope and no possible treatment for those who have already been vaccinated. We must be ready to cremate the bodies.”
On the contrary, in his Interview for LifeSite New, Luc Montagnier called mass vaccination against the coronavirus during the pandemic “unthinkable” and a historical blunder that is “creating the variants” and leading to deaths from the disease.
Although he calls the mass vaccination an “unacceptable mistake” nowhere in his interview has he claimed that “All vaccinated people will die in within 2 years”.
“The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants,” the report said. Many epidemiologists know it and are “silent” about the problem known as “antibody-dependent enhancement,” Montagnier said in his interview.
Vaccinating during a pandemic is “unthinkable” and is causing deaths, the winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize for Medicine said.
In an earlier report, Telangana Today has carried Montagnier’s interview which clearly suggests how the news has been manipulated.
