Hyderabad: Three rounds down and two to play, the group stage of the T9 Challenge Season 4 is taking shape at the Boulder Hills Golf and Country Club, with one side breaking away at the top of Pool A and an extraordinarily tight Pool B still open to anyone.
In Pool A, Par Timers delivered the performance of the day, a near-flawless 3.5 out of 4 points, to open a clear gap at the top on 9 points, having been beaten only once across 12 matches. Bunker Busters endured a rare off-day (1.5) but held on to second place with 7 points, while Vsoft Titans secured a solid 2.5 to climb to third on 6. The chasing pack remains bunched, with Dasos by Mahi and Sree Metrix Eagles level on 5 and Rajapusha Invicta on 4. However, Dasos will want to forget Day 3 after managing just 0.5 points, having topped the standings only a round earlier.
Pool B could hardly be tighter, with just three points separating all six teams. Ardee Iron Eagles continued to set the pace on 8 points after another strong three-point showing, but Fairway Warriors matched that Day-3 haul to surge level with Jaagruthi Jaguars on 6. Right behind them, Chamundi Boulder Hills Tigers and Hyderabad Golfer United sit on 5.5 points, with Novotel Stars on 5, meaning every fixture in the closing rounds could reshuffle the entire pool.
Overall standings after Round 3:
Pool A: 1. Par Timers 9 · 2. Bunker Busters 7 · 3. Vsoft Titans 6 · 4. Dasos by Mahi 5 · 5. Sree Metrix Eagles 5 · 6. Rajapusha Invicta 4
