Parts of Asifabad register unseasonal rains
Rebbena, Wankidi, Asifabad, Sirpur (T), Kaghaznagar and Dahegaon mandals belonging to district recorded light to very light rains
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Some parts of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district recorded unseasonal rains coupled with gales on Wednesday.
Rebbena, Wankidi, Asifabad, Sirpur (T), Kaghaznagar and Dahegaon mandals belonging to Kumram Bheem Asifabad district recorded light to very light rains. Rebbena received the highest rainfall of 7.5 mm. Consequently, power was disrupted for a few hours. Mango orchards and standing paddy and maize crops were damaged due to the showers.
Meanwhile, iron sheets of certain houses were blown away due to strong gales registered in Sirikinda mandal of Adilabad district. However, none was injured.
