Passenger assaults TGSRTC driver over missed stop in Vemulawada
A TGSRTC bus driver was assaulted by a passenger in Rajanna-Sircilla district after failing to halt at Korutla bus stop due to overcrowding. The incident led to traffic disruption in Vemulawada. Police intervened promptly, cleared the congestion, and took the attacker into custody.

Rajanna-Sircilla: Passenger assaulted a TGSRTC bus driver for not stopping the vehicle in Vemulawada on Tuesday.
The bus, travelling from Vemulawada to Marimadla, was not halted at Korutla bus stop. It is said the driver had not stopped the vehicle due to overload.
Enraged by the incident, a passenger pulled the driver by his collar and assaulted him. The driver then stopped the bus abruptly in the middle of the road, causing traffic congestion as vehicles traffic came to a standstill on both sides.
Upon learning about the incident, police rushed to the spot and cleared the traffic. The officials then shifted the unruly passenger to the police station.
