Hyderabad: Hyderabad customs booked a case for smuggling of gold against a passenger who arrived by Air India flight AI 952 from Dubai to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Saturday. The smuggled gold worth Rs.20.40 lakh was recovered from the passenger. The passenger concealed the gold in the paste form between outer and inner sheets of corrugated boxes and smuggled it to Hyderabad when the customs officials detained him after frisking him.
