Passenger detained at Hyderabad airport for carrying live bullet
A passenger arriving from Kolkata was detained at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after a live 38 mm bullet was discovered in his luggage during screening. The man, identified as Vishal, was preparing to board a connecting flight to Bengaluru.

Hyderabad: A passenger carrying a live bullet was detained by customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Thursday night.
According to officials, the passenger, Vishal, who arrived from Kolkata on a private airline was preparing to board another flight to Bengaluru when security personnel found a 38 mm live bullet in his luggage during screening.
When questioned, he reportedly failed to give a satisfactory explanation.
The RGIA Police took him into custody for interrogation and have begun investigating how he came to possess the bullet.
