Passengers injured as RTC bus hits a truck in Khammam
A Palle Velugu RTC bus travelling from Suryapet to Khammam rammed into a stationary container truck on the Khammam–Suryapet main road in Khammam Rural mandal on Thursday. Several passengers sustained minor injuries, while the bus driver reportedly suffered a leg fracture.

Khammam: Several passengers suffered minor injuries as an RTC Palle Velugu bus hit a stationary container truck on the Khammam-Suryapet main road in Khammam Rural mandal on Thursday.
The bus was coming to Khammam from Suryapet when the incident occurred. The bus driver was said to have suffered a fracture in one of his legs. The injured passengers were rushed to Government General Hospital in Khammam for treatment.
