A Palle Velugu RTC bus travelling from Suryapet to Khammam rammed into a stationary container truck on the Khammam–Suryapet main road in Khammam Rural mandal on Thursday. Several passengers sustained minor injuries, while the bus driver reportedly suffered a leg fracture.
The seating of buses on some routes has been changed on an experimental basis on busy routes. If this policy is successful, it will be implemented in other routes as well.
