Frustrated travellers alleged frequent delayed run of the Secunderabad – Chittapur MEMU Express
Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed as several passengers staged a protest against the alleged frequent delayed run of the Secunderabad – Chittapur MEMU Express at the Lingampalli railway station here on Tuesday.
Passengers, who were frustrated at the sudden disruption and lack of timely updates, gathered on the platform and railway tracks to voice their concerns.
Many travellers, including those with reserved tickets, expressed their dissatisfaction to the railway authorities on the late running of the services.
They criticised the railway officials that there was no prior information or alert sent to them on the sudden cancellation of the trains. This was happening on a regular basis.
Meanwhile, railway officials spoke to the passengers and pacified them and brought the situation under control.
