Patriotic fervour sweeps Hyderabad, as people celebrate 77th Republic Day celebrations
Hyderabad celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour across government offices, schools, and resident associations. Key officials, including VC Sajjanar, M. Ramesh, and R. V. Karnan, led flag-hoisting ceremonies at Purani Haveli, Cyberabad, GHMC, HMDA, and other offices.

Hyderabad: Patriotic fervour swept across Hyderabad on Monday as citizens and institutions came together to celebrate the 77th Republic Day. From grand government ceremonies to local resident welfare associations, private offices and schools, the tricolour was unfurled at scores of locations, marking the day with collective pride and community celebrations.
Republic Day celebrations were held in a grand manner at the historic Kotwal House at Purani Haveli on Monday. City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar attended the event as the chief guest and unfurled the national flag. He later took the ceremonial guard of honour from police personnel.
At Cyberabad, Police Commissioner M Ramesh unfurled the tricolour while MD, TGSRTC, Y Nagi Reddy participated in the Republic Day celebrations at TGSRTC headquarters. The General Manager, SCR, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, participated in the Republic Day celebrations at Railway Sports Ground in Secunderabad.
The Commissioner of GHMC, R V Karnan, unfurled the tricolour at GHMC head office on Monday. Heads of various departments, including MD, HMWSSB, and K Ashok Reddy, participated in the Republic Day celebrations.
Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, Sarpfaraz Ahmad, unfurled the National Flag at the HMDA administrative office, Ameerpet, while Additional Director, Hydraa, V Papaiah, unfurled the national flag at Buddha Bhavan in the presence of staff.
