Hyderabad: Patriotism is a strong feeling of love for one’s nation. This feeling pushes people to do more for their nation and make their country proud. Patriotism is a feeling which promotes love for one’s nation. This feeling pushes people to do more for their nation and make their country proud. Patriotism is a feeling which puts the country before self. It helps to develop and making the nation strong.

A country develops when people have the same interests, hence patriotism helps to maintain peace and harmony in the country. The passion of patriotism is said to flow in the blood of the countrymen. Patriotism is expressed in different ways, in the form of doctors saving lives to soldiers protecting lives and country. The true meaning of patriotism is seen in people like Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Patel, Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, Major Mohit Sharma, Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje, Maharana Pratap to name a few. Am proud to be a citizen of such a great country, where true patriots are born.
