Peddapalli: Collector Koya Sree Harsha has assured to provide full assistance to the talented students excelling in various sports events. The Collector presented a compound bow to archery player G Archana at his chamber here on Monday.
A resident of Kasarlagadda of Mutharam mandal, Archana showed excellent performance in the national level archery competitions held last year and got a seat in Basara IIIT under sports quota.
Archana made an application to the collector requesting him to arrange a compound bow for her. Responding positively to the request, the collector sanctioned Rs 1.25 lakh to purchase the bow.
Handing over the bow to her on Monday, Sree Harsha wished Archana to become a great archery player in the future and assured to provide all kinds of assistance from the district administration.
