Peddapalli Collector honored by President Droupadi Murmu with prestigious award for women-friendly panchayat, wins Rs 75 Lakh

Chillapalli in Manthani mandal was honored with the second-best women-friendly panchayat award for the year 2022-23. The Collector received the award on behalf of the panchayat, which included a cash prize of Rs 75 lakh. The Collector announced that the prize money would be used for the village's development, and emphasized that further initiatives to promote women's development would be undertaken in the future.

Peddapalli: Collector Koya Sree Harsha received the award for the second best women friendly panchayat from President Droupadi Murmu at a programme held in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Chillapalli of Manthani mandal was selected as the second best women friendly panchayat award for the year 2022-23. The Collector received the award on behalf of the panchayat. As part of the award, Chillapalli was provided a cash prize of Rs.75 lakh. Informing that the award money would be utilized for the development of the village, the Collector said more works for the development of women in the future would be taken up.
