Peddapalli: Labourer dead, 13 others injured in road accident

Peddapalli: A brick kiln labourer died and 13 others were injured in a road accident on the outskirts of Peddapalli town on Monday.

According to police, labourers working in a brick kiln unit in Goureddypeta of Peddapalli mandal were on their way to Peddapalli town to purchase groceries.

When the vehicle reached the flyover, the driver lost control over the wheel and the vehicle overturned. The labourer died on the spot.

One seriously injured woman was shifted to a private hospital in Karimnagar while the other injured were admitted in Peddapalli hospital, said Peddapalli CI Pradeep Kumar.
