People living along the NH-65 between Sangareddy and Patancheru will face serious challenges

The diversion of traffic on NH-65 for road widening has raised concerns among residents and commuters in villages around Muthangi and Patancheru. Employees and students fear longer travel times and traffic congestion, particularly on the comparatively narrow Kardanur road

Sangareddy: The decision to divert traffic on NH-65 to facilitate road widening has sparked apprehensions among people living in villages along the highway. Residents of Muthangi, Chitkul, Isnapur, Rudraram, Lakdaram and several other places will find it difficult as their movement could be restricted.

Employees working in the Pashamylaram Industrial Area, Patancheru Industrial Area and Sultanpur Industrial Area will face serious challenges as handling the traffic diversion will be a major task for both the Cyberabad Police and Sangareddy police.

Speaking to Telangana Today, K Ramesh of Muthangi said they would have a tough time reaching Sangareddy and Patancheru. These villages have witnessed rapid urbanisation due to migration and new settlements. As residents travel to various places as part of their daily commute, the traffic diversion is likely to have a serious impact on them.

Those travelling by bus to offices, schools or colleges will have to start an hour earlier than usual to reach Sangareddy from Patancheru due to the traffic diversion. Since the Kardanur road, to which traffic was diverted, is comparatively narrow, road users feared that it would witness frequent traffic jams, leading to delays in reaching their destinations.
