People stage protest in front of Thungathurti MLA in Suryapet district
Denounce the role of MLA Mandula Samuel in selection of beneficiaries for Indiramma houses
Suryapet: Disappointed over omission of their names in the list of beneficiaries of Indiramma houses, people staged a protest demonstration at Thungathurthi in Suryapet district on Friday. They indulged in sloganeering denouncing the role of their MLA Mandula Samuel in front of him, in selection of beneficiaries.
The protesters alleged that the genuine beneficiaries failed to get benefits under the government-sponsored schemes. As the villagers demanded their names to be included in the list of beneficiaries, the MLA left the place. In several villages of Suryapet district, the gram sabhas witnessed unruly scenes with people expecting allotment of house disappointed.
