Petbasheerabad police to record victim’s statement in POCSO case against Bandi Sanjay’s son
The Petbasheerabad police will record the victim’s statement in a POCSO case registered against Sai Bageerath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay. The complaint alleges inappropriate behaviour during a New Year’s Eve party. Bandi Sanjay has denied the allegations.
Hyderabad: The Petbasheerabad police will be recording the statement of the POCSO case victim before formally going ahead with issuing a notice or arresting Sai Bageerath, son of the Union Minister Bandi Sanjay.
A case was registered against Sai Bageerath at Petbasheerabad police station after the victim made a complaint against him on Saturday. The victim had alleged that on New Year’s Eve, at a party, Sai had forced her to consume liquor and behaved inappropriately.
Bandi Sanjay had denied the allegations made against his son and termed it a conspiracy by his political opponents.
