Phone-tapping case: TPCC president appears before SIT

Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud on Tuesday appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the State Police probing the phone-tapping case.
Speaking to media persons later, the TPCC president alleged that the previous government had tapped phones of political leaders, including those from Telugu Desam and BJP. This was also one of the reasons for Congress losing the 2018 elections, he claimed.
A complaint was lodged with the then Chief Secretary over the issue. Stern action should be initiated against all those involved in the scandal, the TPCC president demanded.
