Warangal: National Institute of Technology-Warangal (NITW) Director Prof NV Ramana Rao inaugurated the newly established physiotherapy unit with D-Track and mobilisation machine set up at the institute’s Health Centre here on Monday. He said that they had upgraded the Health Centre of NIT Warangal with modern equipment worth Rs 4 lakhs.
“D-Track machine is to treat Lumbar and Cervical Spondylosis (chronic back and neck pain) to release the spasms and stiffness,” he said and urged the employees to utilise the services available at the new centre Registrar, NITW, S Govardhan Rao, Medical Officers Dr Karthik Chintala, Dr Anchoori Karthik and other Health Centre staff attended the inauguration programme.
