Pilot Rohit Reddy denies rumours about plans to join BJP
Former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy denied rumours of joining the BJP, calling them false and politically motivated. He reaffirmed loyalty to the BRS, credited K Chandrashekar Rao for Telangana’s progress, and announced preparations for upcoming local body elections.
Hyderabad: Former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy has strongly refuted rumours circulating on social media and TV channels about his alleged plans to join the BJP. He dismissed claims that he facilitated former MLA Guvvala Balaraju’s defection to the BJP, calling such reports “false”.
He urged Tandur residents and Bharat Rashtra Samithi supporters not to believe these rumours, which he said were being spread to divert public attention from unfulfilled promises made by rival parties.
Reddy emphasised his unwavering commitment to the BRS, stating, “As long as I breathe, I will continue serving Tandur, and Telangana will remain my priority.” He recalled how he had rejected lucrative offers in the past to leave the BRS and credited former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for elevating Telangana’s global stature.
Reddy accused certain media outlets of acting as “puppets” for rival parties and urged them to focus on holding parties accountable for their promises. Announcing preparations for local body elections, Reddy said the BRS would perform well in all seats. Preparatory meetings were already underway. He reaffirmed his role as a dedicated soldier of KCR and KTR.
