Speaking to mediapersons after a meeting with the DGP here, BRS Nagarkurnool MP candidate RS Praveen Kumar highlighted incidents in Atchampet, Kollapur, and Nagarkurnool areas under Nagarkurnool parliamentary constituency.
The former MLA was visiting the constituency for the first time after the elections. However, police abruptly stopped the vehicle at Veldanda and arrested, Guvvala Balaraju said on X.
Police reported that MLA Guvvala Balaraju from the ruling party sustained injuries in the clashes and was promptly taken to a hospital in Hyderabad along with other individuals involved.
